Dr. Paul A. Marando DC, CCSP

Chiropractor

Dr. Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph just outside of where he grew up in Niagara Falls, Canada. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.

Since Graduating in 2001, Dr. Paul has been committed to further educating himself with the most advanced techniques and diagnostic skills that help provide his patients and athletes with the quickest means of recovery and self-care. These same techniques and training help him offer rapid recovery and performance solutions to his athlete patients. They range from weekend warriors to professional athletes.

Dr. Paul has found that staying involved in sports helps him to better understand the needs of athletes and his patients – not only treating the presenting condition, but educating patients on how to stay injury-free and increase one’s top performance.

Treating patients outside the office is also an important factor. For this reason, Dr. Paul gets involved in many community-based events locally and professionally, such as Chicago Marathon and Ironman events, volunteer medical staff at AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Chicago Tour, and weightlifting competitions.

For fun, Dr. Paul enjoys keeping himself active with weightlifting, CrossFit, cycling, and downhill skiing. He lives with his family in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago.

Dr. Tim P. Marando DC, ND

Chiropractor

Born and raised just outside of Niagara Falls, Canada, Dr. Tim Marando currently lives in the Irving Park area of Chicago. After he received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biological Science from Brock University, Dr. Tim attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.) degrees graduating as Valedictorian in each class.

Remaining active with continuing education allows Dr. Tim to accurately diagnose and treat patients with a variety of the most current treatment options available. Dr. Tim utilizes various rehabilitative methods to treat the underlying biomechanical dysfunction, not just the presenting symptoms.

Keeping curious and up-to-date with various new sport techniques is vital to his practice as a doctor as well as being an athlete. Dr. Tim believes that continuous learning is a key factor in staying at top-level position as a practitioner, being able to best help patients by knowing exactly what they experience, and playing a bigger game.

Remaining active and treating patients at community and professional sporting events has been essential to building strong understanding to treat athletes of all skill levels.  Dr. Tim’s involvement has lead him to treating local events such as Girls on the Run (part of Chicago Marathon) and at professional settings as volunteer medical staff at AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Chicago Tour.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tim enjoys remaining active within the community by participating in Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit training, mountain biking, and downhill skiing.

Donna was a patient before she started working at physicians plus which gave her a chance to get to know the docs and see how the office runs.  Her experience as a patient made for an easy transition to working here.  Donna is delighted to be a part of this great family practice.

When not at work, Donna enjoys cooking, swimming, going for long walks, and volunteering within the community. Because of her Arts background, she loves seeing shows and going to museums.
