Dr. Paul Marando
DC, CCSP, Cert MDT
chiropractor
Dr. Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph just outside of where he grew up in Niagara Falls, Canada. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.
Since Graduating in 2001, Dr. Paul has been committed to further educating himself with the most advanced techniques and diagnostic skills that help provide his patients and athletes with the quickest means of recovery and self-care. These same techniques and training help him offer rapid recovery and performance solutions to his athlete patients. They range from weekend warriors to professional athletes.
Dr. Paul has found that staying involved in sports helps him better understand the needs of athletes and his patients – not only treating the presenting condition, but educating patients on how to stay injury-free and increase their top performance.
Treating patients outside the office is also an important factor. For this reason, Dr. Paul gets involved in many community-based events locally and professionally, such as Chicago Marathon and Ironman events, volunteer medical staff at the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Chicago Tour, and weightlifting competitions.
For fun, Dr. Paul enjoys keeping himself active with weightlifting, CrossFit, cycling, and downhill skiing. He lives with his family in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago.
