Remaining active with continuing education allows Dr. Tim to accurately diagnose and treat patients with a variety of the most current treatment options available. Dr. Tim utilizes various rehabilitative methods to treat the underlying biomechanical dysfunction, not just the presenting symptoms.
Keeping curious and up-to-date with various new sports techniques is vital to his practice as a doctor as well as being an athlete. Dr. Tim believes that continuous learning is a key factor in staying at top-level position as a practitioner, being able to best help patients by knowing exactly what they experience, and playing a bigger game.
Remaining active and treating patients at community and professional sporting events has been essential to building the strong understanding necessary to treat athletes of all skill levels. Dr. Tim’s involvement has led him to treat athletes at local events such as Girls on the Run (part of the Chicago Marathon) and at professional settings as volunteer medical staff at the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Chicago Tour.
Outside of the office, Dr. Tim enjoys remaining active within the community by participating in Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit training, mountain biking, and downhill skiing.
